Teaching focus: Greek language and literature, Latin language and literature
Master’s degree in classics from the Università di Pisa and the Scuola Normale Superiore. His research interests have focused on a variety of topics pertinent to Latin and Greek, with particular attention to the study of late antique literature (Apuleius Querolus) and renaissance literature (Colloquium Heptaplomeres and Venetian historiography). Alongside his philological studies, he has also participated in many pedagogical programs and workshops on Ancient Greek and Latin through a number of Italian and foreign universities. In addition to his participation in international conferences and seminars, since 2012 he has completed intensive Latin composition courses at the Universities of Krakow, Wroclaw, Poznan and Vilnius. Since 2014, these courses have included advanced level courses in Greek.
