Περὶ ἀθανασίας

This online seminar, which will be held entirely in Attic, addresses those Greek authors who dealt with the Immortality of the Soul. The seminar will be divided into two modules: in the former, we will take into account a crucial passage from Plato’s Phaedrus; in the latter, we will read satirical passages from Lucian’s works. Participants will be given the opportunity to enhance their knowledge of Ancient Greek, as well as read key passages from both a historical and a literary perspective, and have first-hand experience of the teaching method implemented at the Schola Humanistica.
